The Lice Treatment Center® in Monroe CT looks to bring its Social Media to the next level.

MONROE, Conn. -- Tucked away amidst the pretty landscapes of Monroe, Connecticut, there lies a force with which to be reckoned. The would-be reckoners: a pest that has ridden into the present day on the scalps of mankind for thousands of years.

The force: The Lice Treatment Center®.

The company was initially formed by two mothers; one a businesswoman, the other a pediatrician. Nearly a decade later, Lice Treatment Center® has become a lice treatment powerhouse with a highly skilled team of technicians and a pediatrician formulated, all-natural line of treatment and prevention products. They have extended their reach to offer in-house service to all of Connecticut, New York City, Westchester County NY, Boston MA, Chicago IL, Washington DC, and are looking to franchise to other parts of the United States.

Just before Christmas this year, The Lice Treatment Center® brought on local writer Dave Caswell to be their Marketing Coordinator for their social media and advertising efforts. As blogger and novel/comic writer and filmmaker, Caswell looks to boost community interaction between The Lice Treatment Center® and the members of the social media networks with whom they interact The goal is to provide people with relevant lice news, fun content, community conversations, and helpful prevention tips. He has recently launched a weekly Facebook event called ‘Talk It Out Tuesdays’, where people can ask their toughest lice questions on the company’s wall in order to have them answered shortly thereafter.

Lice Treatment Center® is on Facebook and Twitter, but can also be found on Instagram, Google+, and expanding to Pinterest very soon. Caswell will also begin blogging extensively for the company starting in the new year. He plans to bring a level of airiness, fun, and knowledge to the otherwise reserved subject matter of head lice.
